Antique Machinist Wood Tool Box by Union 17” Wide X 13” Tall X 8” Deep - 7 draws, and the top storage area. Lockable front cover has slot to slide under draws. Says Union. There’s a name plate of original owner. Box is solid. The leather wrapped handle shows its age with cracking. There is an area on the back where it looks like paint spilled, and would be nothing to restore. A gentleman in his 80’s, gave me all his Fathers tools. He was a Machinist for Holly Carburetors in the teens till the 30’s - 40’s I believe, and liked to work on watches. He also built miniature Steam Engines, he even made an HO scale live Steam Train Engine. I was told he took his work home to his own shop in the basement. If they could not figure it out at the factory, and would work all night on Holly projects, getting them just right. He also made so many of his own tools, it might be hard to sell some without names? But if their cool enough, and I can keep from filling my own tool boxes up, I will let some go.
