Antique Chippendale Style Secretary Desk by Maddox Tables Jamestown, New York
Serpentine front with 4 drawers 3 1/2" deep Top - 31 1/2" wide X 10 1/2" deep Middle - 9" deep and base is 16 3/4" deep All over height is 71 1/2" tall Bookcase top has real glass in lattice style doors Bookcase inside has 3 shelves The slant front desk opens to reveal 4 small drawers, 6 letter holders, and a double door in center with a raised crest The desk when pulled down is 16" deep and 30" in height from the floor Has one pull that's been replaced Drawers are dove-tailed Locks with one key that is provided Claw feet - one has a gouge in it Several scuff marks but actually not as bad as the pictures make them look Gorgeous authentic old piece with a lot of character. Purchased around 1928. This item is pick-up only. Located halfway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland near I-80 and 79 Payment is by check or MO.
