This is an old mahogany and brass camera which I believe was made by Houghtons and was known as the "Victo", indicated on a brass plaque above the lens. I know very little about cameras but will do my best to describe and should you wish to ask questions please feel free to get in touch. As you can see from the photos it generally in good condition. It comes with 3 separate wooden plates shown in 1st photo. When folded it measures approx. 8.25 inches by8.25 inches by 3 inches [ excluding lens]. When unfolded it has black bellows which are in good condition with no tears or splits. The leather handle is only attached at one end [leather has splt at other end] All brass appears fine and in very good condition but I believe there may be a brass ring that was originally mounted on the front [ see pic 1] . There are screw holes but no ring. Wood is a good colour and again in fine condition. The whole thing seems to fold as required although it is a bit of a fiddle. The button to press to move the shutter is on a long cord. Lens cap is present. All in all a very nice original camera. It is sold without reserve as I do not have a clue what it is worth. It was part of a house contents I inherited. Feel free to e mail any questions regarding postage etc. Take a look at my other items including silver plate. All are sold with no reserve.
