This auction is for a beautiful, antique mahogany table with a copper lined humidor cabinet. The base has four curved legs with ribbed detailing (3 have brass claw foot tips, one is missing), a lower shelf with beaded edge, four turned columns. The cabinet sits in the center, double beaded edge detail and tro turned columns on each side with a scalloped edge shelf. T is a beautiful carved apron in the front below the cabinet door (see photo). Original brass hinges and brass door pull. Top is a combination of mahogany and burled mahogany with gold striped inlays. Top also has a scalloped edge. The top has two small pieces of veneer missing (see photo of top), barely noticeable. Solid construction, fine craftsmanship, this piece would do well as a smoking stand, side table, nightstand, or small entry table. Very good condition, some tiny nicks and minor wear to finish due to age. See photos for details. No maker's label. This piece measures 24" wide, 27" tall, 11 1/2" deep. Humidor cabinet is 11" wide x 9" tall x 10" deep. A very unusual piece that has survived for many years, surely to become a treasured family heirloom.
