This is a Georgian two-part corner cupboard or cabinet, which was bought at the estate sale of a large Kentish farmhouse. This is a handsome piece that requires some restoration, but this is reflected in its starting price which is at about 25% of its finished value. The top section is glazed and has three baize-lined shelves with shaping to the front edge. Below is a cabinet with a single baize-covered shelf to the mid-point. There are locks to both cupboards but neither key is present. Someone has added architectural strip lights to the upper cupboard, but the wiring to these seems incomplete and it would be more authentic to remove them altogether. Pics 4-7 detail various flaws and imperfections, but a good restorer would know how to deal with these issues. Collection only. Collection is from Dartford, Kent (about 5 minutes from junction 2 of the M25). You will need a van to collect this. If you require a courier, we would recommend Kiwicouriers on , please call Graeme for a quote.
