This is auction is for one of my beautiful victorian Mahogany jewellery boxes. The size is 10.5 x 7.5 x 5 inchs, a lovely size to display anywhere around your home. It has a brass cartouche & key plate in original order. The hinges are in good order & the lid sits flushly to the box. The box is circa 1870 & has age related marks but no missing veneer & this box still looks very elegant & displays very well. The inside has been re-lined in a rich chocolate velour which enhances the boxes patina. It comes with Tassel & key which turns but does not lock. The lock & catch are original Please study pictures.
