ANTIQUE MUSIC CABINET - 78 RECORDS, SHEET MUSIC, MAGAZINES, ETC. A very attactive antique music cabinet. The color is richer looking than the photos portray - you won't be disappointed! Top 19 3/8 inches by 17 inches. 34 inches tall. Outside case measurements 17 7/8 inches wide by 16 inches deep. Inside measurements: 16 inches wide by 15 1/4 inches deep (to outer edge of slide shelves). Distance between slide brackets is 15 1/8 inches. Sliding shelves are 15 ½ inches wide by 12 inches deep - they have stops at the back of the slides which prevent them from sliding completely to the back side of the cabinet - another 3 1/4 inches. Very good vintage condition. We believe the door and top to be mahogany veneer and the sides stained poplar wood to match. Sound construction, no loose joints. No water damage. No dry rot. The lower edge of the door has a crack down the edge of the door about 7 inches long. Not a structural or appearance problem. 3 shelves are replacements which could be stained to match. It appears the latch may have been replaced at one time in the past as t is a circular patch above the latch. Please see photos.
