for your bidding consideration is this early original splint oak backpack from in Maine. This is a true country piece with wonderful old aged wood worn patina with old dry paint which is on the flame orange side. This item is in great shape with very little ware as shown. The pack has what I call a " pot belly " shape and stands perfectly or will hang the same. If you'll notice the top opening is bent wood with one finger. The red vinyl covering the opening was handmade some time ago. The pack measures 24 1/2" tall, 15" wide and 11 1/2" deep. This one would look great inside a cabin, log home, fishing shack etc... Please email with any questions prior to bidding as the item is being sold as seen in photo's. The buyer is responsible for all actual shipping costs. All items are shipped usps priority or parcal post services only. Ups or Fedex shipping services are reserved for packages the usps will not handle due to size and or weight. Packaging & handling are always free. Usps shipping insurance & general Delivery Confirmation are also free within the USA lower 48 states & w applicable internationally. For international buyers I will have the item usps weighed for accurate shipping costs at the auctions end. All items are packaged by hand taking the utmost care in consideration of all buyers. We package & ship in the same manner as we would expect to receive items. Please be reminded once the package leaves our hands & into the shippers hands we are not responsible for arrival time.
