This majolica dish is made of pottery. It measures approximately 9 1/4 x 7 inches across the top and about 1 7/8 inches tall to the highest point on the rim. Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare. The underside of the dish is marked with as shown in the photos below. There are two teeny-tiny, pinprick-sized nicks on the underside of the rim. One is shown -- magnified -- in the photos below but isn't noticeable at all except under the closest possible examination. They're literally no big deal. There is only the most minor of completely colorless crazing -- what little there may be, is the type of thing that's best seen when the piece is held at the right angle in a strong light but isn't noticeable under normal conditions. Overall and other than as noted, this majolica dish is in excellent condition with no other chips, cracks, stains, etc. There is no scratching or surface wear.
