IT IS FUNCTIONAL WITH A FAHRENHEIT SCALE OF ZERO TO TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY DEGREES. T ARE APPROPRIATE DESIGNATIONS ON THE TEMPERATURE SCALE FOR BOTH SYRUP AND MAPLE SUGAR. THE SET ALSO CONTAINS A "TAYLOR SAP HYDROMETER" FOR DETERMINING THE SPECIFIC GRAVITY AND SUBSEQUENTLY THE SUGAR CONTENT OF THE SAP.
