Volume 1 was published first in 2001 and has become a best seller, now in its 3rd edition. This Electric Books Collection of original vintage & antique maps of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, TX. has been building for a long time as we slowly acquired original Fort Worth maps as they became available. While Ft. Worth has been one of the largest Texas cities from the time the Texas & Pacific railroad arrived in 1876, t have never been a lot of different maps compared to Houston, Dallas & San Antonio. Zoom in to 300+% for super detail viewing, use the easy map easy map view panning and map printing In addition to the large maps of Fort Worth, the collection includes many smaller or special interest maps including some very early Tarrant County maps, a lake map, plat maps, maps of roads, railroads, streetcars & trolleys & interurban. In addition we have added many special original views & illustrations of Fort Worth. T are almost 700 megabytes of maps & images on this CDROM Many of these old Fort Worth maps have never been published commercially and many others are long out of print. A few of the included maps are from common public domain sources and are used to fill the time lines. A few of the maps are from private or institutional collections who graciously gave us permission to include them. All maps were scanned in high resolution so that deep zooms of 300+% to pick up incredible detail are easy.
