Description of item for sale : This beautiful figural clock garniture with clock and pair of vases is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. The bronzed spelter sculpture depicts a student, pen in hand, with his books and writing tablet. The eight day works are of high quality in good operating condition. This clock is very sensitive to being perfectly leveled, a sign that the works could use a cleaning. The bell chime sounds once on the half-hour and tolls out the hours. This clock is in outstanding antique condition and has no damage or repairs whatsoever. Comes complete with key. Dimensions, clock: 19" tall, 13" long, 6" deep, vases: 14" tall.
