ANTIQUE MARBLES BENNINGTON CLAY AGATES GERMAN MORE++ NRThis auction is for an absolutely superb assortment of over 300 marbles. T are antique, vintage, classic, and contemporary marbles in this awesome lot! Old and new, handmade and machine made, glass, clay, benningtons, Germans, genuine agates, onyx, pottery, wood, even a nice Snowflake Obsidian!
IS THE LIST: 8 antique German handmade glass marbles. One is a strange little 9/16ths inch opaque. It has two pontils and is tan/peach colored with a spot of yellow. One is a 5/8ths inch pink and white onionskin. 4 are latticino core swirls from 5/8ths inch up to ¾ inch. 2 are 11/16ths inch ribbon core swirls. 6 banded onyx marbles. 5 are ¾ inch and one is 1 inch. 20 Bennington marbles. 10 blue and 10 brown. T is a nice 2 inch George Williams handmade clearie...this has a beautiful blue tint to it. 2 Steve Davis handmade marbles. Unsigned. One is 1 and 3/8ths inches, and the other is 1 and 7/16ths inches. These are simply gorgeous! 5 genuine Agates. These are amazing to look at. They are all between 7/8ths and 1 inch. 6 pottery marbles. All are around ¾ inches. 5 are dyed pottery, and one is painted and glazed. These are all very heavy marbles. T are nine ¾ inch modern handmades in this set as well. Swirls, corkscrews, Indian blankets, polka dots...all in bright, bright colors. T are 46 antique clay marbles. This is a very nice set of clays. T are 3 foil, 5 blue, 5 green, 5 white, 5 tan, 5 purple, 5 brown, 5 speckled, 5 red, 2 large shooters, and a bright pink peewee. T are 2 steelies in too...and 5 wooden marbles(in assorted colors). One large 1 and ½ inch Snowflake Obsidian. These stones are also known as 'ancestors tears' by many American Indians. The one in this auction is a stunning example. 2 eyecatching ½ inch modern handmade swirls. These are unsigned. They are adorable. T are more than 200 machine made marbles also included in this auction...vintage, modern, and everything in-between...swirls, slags, corks, wasps, rainbows, turkey necks, flames, opaques, bloodies, and so much more! T are even 5 comics (repros) Tom Mix, Orphan Annie, Kayo, Smitty, and Koko. These machine made marbles come from a wide variety of makers. WHAT A GREAT ASSORTMENT!!! These marbles vary in condition from good to near mint/mint with most being near mint.
