Two Piece Antique Marigold Carnival Glass

Fruit Bowl And Stand

Information And Background

Condition: Mint condition, no chips, no cracks, and no pits.

Age: post 1940s, exact age unknown.

Color: Marigold

Size:

bowl is 10 inches in diameter by 4 1/4 inches high,

base / stem is 5 3/4 inches across by 5 1/4 inches tall,

total with bowl and stem is 10 inches across by 9 1/4 inches tall.

Origin: maker unknown, no maker markings.

This is a two piece Carnival Glass fruit bowl with stand. This bowl has many uses such as a fruit bowl or candy dish. Stem can be turned upside down and used as a candy bowl.

Ornate design with floral patterns on the base and sunburst design on the bowl.

Current owner has owned this dish in the family since 1972. Previous owner was a friend of the family who liked to collect antiques in Oklahoma. The history before 1972 is unknown.
