Antique New England(?) tin kerosenehand lamp with its original brass burner present, as found and stamped with the marker’s mark in the tin at the handle top “SILLMAN’S SAFETY TRADE MARK PAT. AUG. 19 TH 1902”. New England?, 1902. 7” diameter at the saucer base by 5 ½” tall to the top of the burner. Guaranteed old and original; this is not a fake or reproduction. Perfect as found in an old Maine farm shed condition noting the odd solder spot on the bottom appearing to be original to the hand lamp and to be of no purpose. Otherwise only appropriate surface oxidation, usage soiling, old dry undisturbed surface, light usage wear and not cleaned in any way surface with the brass burner intact and presumed to work, as found.
