for bids are these matched set of antique railroad car hanging oil lamps,they are a real beauty,the size is 12 inches tall x 7 inches wide.they are sitting in a beautiful walnut hangers which stabilized these lamps when hung on the walls of the railroad car's,both the lamps and the hangers are in great condition,and they come with the glass chimney's,these was made in Urbana , Ohio..i took a picture of the smaller one's with the Urbana , Ohio mark and the L & N Railroad signature to show these are from the same L & N railroad maker.the smaller one's does not come with this hanging set,these are just to show that the hangers come from Urbana , Ohio also. Just the two matched set of the wall mounted oil lamps will be sold in this sale.I can tell you these are very rare, and very nice..these are the old reflector lamps.i did sometime ago ,put the clear varnish on the walnut wall hanger's to protect the wood,if not happy with them ,send them back for a refund,less the shipping both ways,no excuse needed,but im sure you will love these. I want to make this clear,the two smaller one's in the picture's are not for sale in this auction,i just showed the two smaller one with the Urbana,Ohio and the L & N RR and the big J inside the triangle,the two bigger one's has the Urbana,Ohio and big J with the triagle around the big J,this is to show that these are the L & N RR lamps also,i dont know whey they dont have the RR on them,but they are from the same place and the wall mounted lamps has the big J just like the smaller one's that has the RR on them,they both are made out of the same metal,t is no doubt these are the L & N RR wall hanging lamps,this is the best i can explain them.
