Antique Mauchline Ware Clover Shaped Pin Disc Circa*1885 An absolutely gorgeous antique Mauchline Ware Pin Disc measuring about 2.2" in diameter, and .50 inches thick. The padding is intact and in fabulous condition and a deep, rich pine green colour. The wood is just beautiful: no damage at all and shiny as can be. The Mauchline picture is of "Sir Walter Scott's Tomb. Dryburgh Abbey". The wood is Cedar and on the back is stamped "Cedar Wood From Dryburgh Abbey". Mauchline Ware originated in Scotland in the early 18th century and popularly produced throughout that era. From a private collection.
