Offered for your bidding consideration is this lovely Antique Mauchline Ware Thimble Holder from the late 19th / early 20th century. The treenware form is a handled pot with cover. On one side of the pot is the mauchline ware scene titled "CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY STRATFORD ON AVON". Inside is a green velvet holder for the thimble. The mauchline ware pot measure approximately 2 1/8" high to the top of the finial and approximately 4" long to the tip of the handle. It is in excellent condition with NO damage and NO repairs. All pieces are original and sound. The vintage thimble is unmarked and in excellent 'ready to use' condition.
