Up for auction is a very nice genuine antique Mayo's "Cock of the Walk" Plug Tobacco oilcloth banner. It measures 30"x18". The vivid blue rooster is contrasted against a bright yellow background. I don't know how to rate the condition but I have included photos of the two areas that show fading and are thinner than the rest of the cloth. It shows some staining to the reverse which I have also photographed. I have kept this folded and it has some folds that should disappear once it is hung for awhile. I have had this for several years and was going to have it framed; however, I am downsizing to a smaller home and need to sell this desirable advertising collectible. I understand these old banners are becoming quite hard to find. Good luck. Please ask any questions! I will ship anyw for $10.00 which includes insurance.
