I have six antique McCall's Magazine. The only one with a cover is the December 1908 issue and it is in color. The other issues are April 1909, January 1910, November 1910, August 1913, and August 1914. Each issue contained fashion plates, fiction, Fashion tips, fancy work designs (for leisure hours), children's fashion, cooking recipes and ideas, and beauty talks. Subscriptions were 50 cents per year (my how things have changed)!!The pictures are priceless, and the advertising is wonderful. This is a must have for the fashion historian, history teacher, or the antique and rare ad collector!! My photos do not do justice to the contents. The fiction stories were fun to read, and so were the articles. These magazines are over 100 years old, so t are some tears, staining, and markings. I have tried to photograph the worst ones. I get my items from my own shelves, at auctions, estate sales, yard and garage sales. I describe them to the best of my ability and try to describe all the flaws as well as the good points. If you have any questions, please ask before auction is over because all sales are final. I usually ship within three business days once payment is complete. I ship by UPS or USPS Priority Mail. Insurance is optional. Once item leaves my hands, I am not responsible for loss or damage. International buyers must use Paypal. NO EXCEPTIONS.
