This is a neat piece of days gone by merchandising. The jar says Meadors' Products Always Fresh so it served as a store display as well as housing the product for sale. The jar is very heavy and has great graphics on it. The jar has a smooth flaw on the top of the rim and it seems like someone ground on it or rubbed on it a long time and this piece has no cracks. The lid has some of the handle chipped away and a bit of rust a round the screw on the underside but all and all it is not bad. The jar with the lid on is about 12 inches tall at the handle and the rim of the jar is 8 5/8 inches across. This would make a great display or cookie jar.
