PINK ELEPHANT MECHANICAL BANK This pink elephant is made of cast aluminum. He is guaranteed old but age is uncertain. When his tail is pushed down, his trunk goes up. I assume it is a bank since t is then an opening in his forehead w a coin could go in. His trunk does not have a holder for a coin, though. It could be missing. T is a slotted screw on his left side to open him up. It is steel and has some rust. He mechanical action works well. His blanket on his back has the letters "GAR-RU". His belly reads "RU-GAR ENT CO., LONG BEACH, CALIF PAT PEND". The elephant is 9" long tip of tail to tip of trunk. He stands 4 1/2" tall. This item is from a non-smoking home.
