ANTIQUE MEISSEN GERMANY RETICULATED BLUE ONION BOWL Fresh From a Fabulous South Florida Estate! No Reserve, Ever! Antique Meissen Germany Blue Onion Reticulated Footed Bowl. Classically designed. Unmistable in style, form and design. Exquisite floral motif decorates the center. Adjacent sides with a flower sprig and encased in a cartouche. Outside boasts similar floral motifs and applied stem and leaf near the feet. Handles cleverly designed in a vine like motif continuing to the corresponding foot, which is superbly tipped in manner. Lattice cut out pattern on the body nicely accented with blue , against a crisp white ground. An exceptionally collectible piece of porcelain. Excellent candidate to pass through the generations. Signed: Crossed Swords Measures: 4 1/2 " in height, 12 7/8 " across in length [ tip end of handle to handle tip end ], 7 1/4 " deep. Condition: Very Good. No repairs. Few chips on the leaves. KINDLY NOTE " Picture # 19 shows two brown blemishes on the bowl [ one is raised, one is like scratch]. They are under the glaze and appear to have left the factory, as such.
