I found these handsome candlesticks in a little antiques shop in Budapest, Hungary, about 15 years ago, and actually carried them all the way back to NYC in my luggage. I liked their classic Baroque style, and also the fact that I could easily transform them into candlestick LAMPS, which as you can see I never did. They are 10" tall and 3.5" in diameter at their widest point. I'm not completely sure as to the metal. I have always assumed they were brass, and in fact a magnet does not stick to them (a quick way to determine if something is brass.) They may, however, be white metal with an antique brass finish. I do know that they are heavy and old, but from their construction, I would say 20th century. As you can see in the close-ups, I have not cleaned them. I learned long ago that lots of people like the patina of age, so I'll leave that to their new owners. I'm offering free domestic shipping, but will gladly calculate expedited or international shipping.
