Antique Mettlach #2001 German LAWYER LAW BOOK 1/2 Liter Owl Thumb Lift Stein! Description Mettlach German LAWYER LAW BOOK Stein! ~Up for Auction~ This is the Antique Mettlach German LAWYER BOOK 1/2 Liter Stein! This Vintage Mettlach German Lawyer Book Stein has great details with the top inlay showing the scales of justice hung from a sword. The kings crown on one side of the scale and a peasants hat on the other side. This is to symbolize justice is distributed equally between the well to do and the not so well to do. The words " FIAT JUSTITIA PER: MVN" translates to "LET THERE BE JUSTICE THROUGH OUT THE WORLD!" This measures about 5 1/2" to the top of the lids emblem and about 6 3/4" to the top of the Owl Thumb Lift, while being about 4" at the base! This has spectacularly brilliant gold colored trim on the books with intricate details! Please be sure to review all the pictures, especially the last one of the bottom of the stein as it has all the expected markings! This stein is in EXCELLENT Condition!
