1487 SMITHFIELD AVE LINCOLN, RI 02865 Antique mid-20thC *Samuel Bookatz* American Abstract Expressionism Oil Painting ......Hand painted on Artist Board, this original Samuel Bookatz Abstract Impressionist Oil Painting has a very thick, textured surface. It depicts a Sailboat and several buildings. This painting measures 19 ½” by 23 ½”. At first, I thought that there were water stains throughout this painting, some up to 5” in diameter, but now I believe that these spots are actually original to the painting. Around the outside edge of the painting is a removable matt. I believe this matt was added to make the painting fit the 21 ¼” by 25 ¼” gold painted oak frame.
