A couple small chips and a cloudy white line where the underlying white enamel was applied a little to heavy. Standing about 11 1/2 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom this primitive milk pail is a perfect size to be a centerpiece for an in home collection of farm rustics. The iron handle is in great condition and exhibets a wonderful and even patina befitting its age. The metal handle still has the original hardwood rotating grip that has aged to a wonderful deep color over the years. The top locks in place with a partial twist of the handle on the top. Accented with a black edge to the pail and black enameled iron ears that hold the handle in place. The little bit of wear and two modest chips are shown in the pictures. Please examine them carefully so that you are satisfied with the condition and ask any questions that you may have. You very seldom see these in this great condition! They are getting harder and harder to find and can only increase in value over the years.
