Here's a rare early 1900s mini souvenir beer stein / mug - height is appx. 2.75 inches; embossed on front and around side, cream color on a blue background, is a mine shaft / building; on left side embossed lettering: TAMARACK / SHAFT; and on the right, CALUMET, / MICH. both cream color lettering on the blue background; there are pretty embossed flowers on each side, also; under the handle are embossed numbers "56" over a "4"; sorry for all the light on the base - marked GERMANY; condition is near excellent - there is a tiny nick on the rim; the stein must have had a lid at one time - there is a metal screw thru the spot where a lid would be anchored; the surface has a tiny bit of crazing, but really nice condition - displays well - and is probably very scarce.
