To view larger image please DESCRIPTION:This is a very rare oppertunity to purchase a minature barograph we have never seen a barograph of this type but understand it could have been used in aviation due to the fact that w hen the barograph is opened there is a chart and next to it data which is titles 'CORRESPONDANCE ADOPTEE POUR LES ESSAIS DE RECEPTION D'AVIONS' which translates to ' ADOPTED CORRESPONDENCE FOR ACCEPTANCE TESTS OF AIRCRAFT '. If you have any information on this we would be very interested to hear from you. This is a wonderful piece by the highly renowned French maker RICHARD FRERES, PARIS. The case is made from mahogany and has glass to the front side. The barograph has an 2 tier vacuum chamber. The movement is in perfect working order and is complete with it's winding key.
