***PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION AND TERMS*** Wonderful Antique Cast Iron Toy or Salesman Sample Water Pump w Bucket Up for your consideration is this truly wonderful antique cast iron toy. Large but a miniature, possibly a salesman sample, this water pump consists of two pieces, a water pump and a trough. The pump and trough are both in their original paint....green with gold highlights and silver handle for the pump and red for the trough. There is a small cast iron bucket attached with a string....I am uncertain if this is original but since it is cast iron, it matches well..it is not painted. I am uncertain about the age and there are no makers marks on this piece, possibly Arcade but I cannot verify. The pump handle moves up and down but catches every once and awhile, and the piece inside is there (see pic) but I did not try it out...typically this would work by water being put into the trough and the pump, when pumped, would draw up the water and pour it back out through the spout. I was unsure if it would be wise to try it out so I am leaving it up to the buyer. The trough has vertical ridges along the entire outside...paint on both the pump and trough are wearing and certainly gives it a great look. Overall, the pump measures 7 3/4" tall when placed in the trough and pushed down to the farthest it will to into the trough, the pump alone is 7 1/4" tall, the trough is 4 3/8" in diameter and 1 3/8" tall., the bucket is 3/4" tall. Nice size...great colors, wonderful toy or salesman sample! Sold As IS I will combine shipping!
