A very charming antique brass studded wooden chest, about 15 inches long by 9 wide and 7 deep. Original finish and paper lining. Dating to early part of 19th C. and used as a saleman's sample by James McKinney (or possibly McKinley) in upstate New York. Passed down through family. Brought to Canada late in the 19th C. Lid has an uneven break to the very back right over the hinges (visible in photo), other signs of age but overall in great, antique condition!
