An FINE handcarved and most cute miniature deer
head with GENUINE glass eyes and wooden horns ! It is inscribed PUCHBERG a/Sch., that means Puchberg am Schneeberg, a very well known summer and winter sports resort not far from Vienna. Only noble and rich people were able to spend their holidays in this exclusive area 100 years ago when this carving was approximately sold t Do not miss the matching second one my other auctions! CONDITION : good for it's age, only a small missing to each lower twig end and a small repair to one ear and one horn (they are a little shorter now, hard to find). T is the original hanger on back, it is ready for being displayed. AGE : app. 80 - 120 years. SIZE : app. 7.3 inches from antler tips to lower plaque end ! SHIPPING to the USA is 21$ for one or both. Combined shippings are possible ( +5$ for each add. kilogram ).
