A DEFINITE COLLECTIBLE FROM YESTER YEARS. From an upperscale ranch estate sale w the lady of the house collected metalware, is this old time antique mining miner's coal loading metal basket with a coiled metal spring hanger on top, six (6) hanging hooks on the bottom as well as a metal bar. When used in mining, they would place the basket on the main wire that went into the mine, and then placed thermos' on the hooks as well as other accessories on the metal bar. The basket itself measures 14"in. square and 6"in. tall.EXCELLENT CONDITION, great aged patina, no breaks in the metal, and clean. For its age, it's a winner!!!! No markings. Heavy weight and very durable. Great carry-all around the homeplace, ranch, garden area, barn, or camping area, and the ideal collectible.
