Here is one truly fantastic 19th century rococo over mantel mirror. This looking glass is quite elaborate with graceful swags of carved wood callalillies trailing down from the central crest. It is quite architectural in design being deeply molded. The original mirror is in fantastic condition all things considered Ã,Â- there are a few little spots that have wear to the silvering but the mirror is original. The all over carvings are deep and rich and life like. The gold gilding is in very good condition having only some mild wear to the typical spots Ã,Â- where one would dust regularly etc. It is structural very sound and there is no apologize what so ever to be made. It is absolutely stunning and beautiful Ã,Â- hardcore rococo. It would look absolutely tremendous a top a white marble fireplace. It measures 53Ã,Â" at highest x 49Ã,Â" at widest.
