Up for auction is a Monarch Kellogg Oak Wall Crank Telephone that came from a Rural Kansas Estate. The Telephone Cabinet has a nice original finish to the Oak and measures 26 inches tall. Marked on a plate on the mouthpiece is "MONARCH TELEPHONE MFG. CO. CHICAGO, ILL." and a 2nd plate below is marked "L189652". Another plate on the Telephone is marked "MONARCH TELEPHONE MFG. CO. FORT DODGE, IOWA U.S.A.. As you can see from the pictures except for batteries the telphone is complete and even has a Guarantee Card" and Wrenches mounted inside the Telephone. The Telephone has the original cloth wire for the bakelite earpiece and the bakelite on both the earpiece and mouthpiece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Very nice old Telephone that displays very well. Check out my other auctions from items from this estate including a Kellogg Telephone .
