BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SILVER MONOCLE LENS WITH VINTAGE "UNISEX" WATCH FOB CHAIN ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** "This offering is for 1 antique "silver" monocle with a vintage link chain!" The monocle lens is from an antique F. A. Hardy optometrist set circa the late 1800's. Hardy lenses were the top of the line for that era.The frame on the monocle is either silver or silver plated, any discoloration is due to the camera flash. The piece has a beautiful "cross-shaped" handle and measures 1.5 inches in diameter. The magnification strength of the glass lens is a 0.25+. This piece would make a perfect costume prop due to the low magnification. *** I DO HAVE OTHER DIOPTER STRENGTHS AVAILABLE AND WOULD GLADLY SUBSTITUTE A REQUESTED STRENGTH IF AVAILABLE *** The chain is a vintage silver plated double link watch fob chain. It measures approximately 24 inches in length. The chain has a unique "unisex" design in that it can either be worn as you would a watch chain or it can be worn as a necklace. This piece is fashioned with two end connectors, one that is detachable and one that is secured. The piece can be worn as is and will function like a watch chain or you can remove the large connector clasp and then utilize the smaller remaining clasp to wear the piece as a necklace.
