I get most of my items at estate auctions. I sell them in an "as found" condition. I do no repairs or alterations. I do this in the belief that most buyers prefer to receive them as original as possible. This large, unusually beautiful, hand decorated porcelain vase is in excellent condition with no chips, hairlines, repairs and little, if any wear. I think, if I have my tree species right, that the motif is that of a blossoming cherry tree. It is done in a "Moriage" style with most of the decoration standing above the surface. I've owned many pieces of Nippon in my time, but I think this is the most striking of any i've owned to date. The way the colors interact with each other is truly beautiful and for me this vase is a work of art. It would hold it's on in any decorating scheme. It is a "springtime" vase in color and design. It has the cherry blossom mark and I think this dates it to the early 1900's. It is fairly large being about 11 3/4" tall and fairly heavy, weighing almost four pounds. In payment I prefer PayPal but will also accept money orders. Please use the Calculator below to figure your shipping charges. A handling fee of $1.50 is included in this amount. Thanks for looking !! Wayne
