The next few weeks I have some beautiful Antique treasures to show you! As with old things some are perfect, some are not...but still rare and lovely to collect for your home. I'm not a history expert on the age of these pieces so I give as much description as possible. Very rarely will I do reserves, just don't care for them much. Good luck and thanks for bidding!

Beautiful, captivating 17" Bisque Head, Composition Body Antique Doll made by Morimura Brothers circa 1920's in Excellent Antique condition. She is jointed at the shoulders, wrists (she has a small chip on the hand but is covered by the arm at the joint), upper legs, knees and head which can be positioned so that she almost looks real. She can sit or be positioned standing. She has glass eyes that do not shut, feather painted brows and lashes, a reddish brown original wig, a peachy open mouth and 4 lovely perfect curved teeth. Her clothing I believe is original in Excellent Antique condition. Her dress is white with an overlay attached large lace collar with a pink satin rosette and green ribbon and a pink ribbon around her hips. This lovely doll also has a simple slip, and pantaloons that are scalloped with a stitched dotted design border. With her outfit she has thick textured white stockings and white shoes that tie. To complete her beautiful outfit she has a gorgeous, pink satin hat with gathers and a large white feather. WOW!

Regarding the history on this lovely doll, her markings on the back of her head M B indicate she was made by Morimura Brothers which was a "Japanese Import House (1870-1941). They supplied bisque head, German like dolls, to the American Market and others during World War I and after (1915-1926)" Quotes taken from Doll Reference.

She is so stunning, please see all pics and supersize as she will capture your heart as her looks are so versatile!

Keep checking back as I may have more dolls up for auction in the weeks ahead.
