ANTIQUE NATIONAL PRESSURE COOKER/CANNER
This is a beautiful antique pressure cooker from a local estate. It is a very old style. It has a series of 8 large screw down posts that lock the lid in place when use. I love the wooden handles on the top and sides. The lid of the cooker is embossed with " National CANNER RETORT EAU CLAIRE, WIS." This is a large size cooker. It measures about 16 1/2 inches tall and 17 1/2 inches wide. It comes complete with its jar lifting rack inside. The pressure gauge looks good. I believe one of the little vent caps on the top is missing. A couple of the old black screw down wing nuts are chipped. Since this unit is not in working order, I am selling it "as is". It is very heavily constructed and well made. It weighs over 18 pounds without box or packing. Overall, this is a beautiful old piece. It will look fantastic in any vintage kitchen. Don't miss out. TIP: Don't Get Outbid At The Last Moment or Miss Your Opportunity to Bid:
A lot of bidders are disappointed at losing in the last second. They've been "sniped" by other bidders. You can prevent this by entering your Maximum Bid (highest amount you're willing to pay) when you place your bid. Then, if someone places a higher bid, yours rises just enough to cover theirs (up to your maximum). This gets you the best possible price, and reduces the odds of being sniped. It also prevents you from forgetting to bid at the last moment. I get emails all the time saying "I got distracted and did not get to bid. Do you have any more??" I almost never do!
