Well Made, Antique Native American Indian Pima, Papago, or Western Apache Basket This is a beautifully crafted Native American Indian Basket, tightly and expertly woven. Circa 1900 Made by an experienced weaver of yucca, and devil’s claw. This small basket is round and measures 7 1/2" across at the top and is 3/14" across the base. It is 2 1/2" tall. This tray is used, pre-owned, and shows some signs of wear and use. The wear is quite normal for a basket of this age. This old basket retains its tight weave, and is very sturdy and strong. There are no holes, gaps, bends or repairs. After a thorough examination I have identified 2 broken or missing stitches both on the inside. Over all, given its age and intended use, this basket is in very good original condition. This is not a new basket – it is an old, original, and 100% authentic Native American Indian Basket, a pretty little piece. This item comes from our smoke free home.
