Really handsome antique Needlework fragment from a very good Dallas estate. Unconditionally guaranteed authentic and old and the pics really leave no doubt. I would date it to the very early 1800s, ca. 1800 - 1850. Probably American (found in Texas and it does appear to be an old family piece), but possibly English or European. Very fine work as the pics show and it appears to be silk on linen with the fragment further mounted on an old linen background for framing. Excellent condition, showing some minor wear and fading consistent with age but no serious problems and it would be considered **mint** for all practical purposes. The frame and glass probably date to the early 20th century, ca. 1900 - 1950 and they are in perfect condition with no problems. Overall size is 13.5" x 11.5" including the frame. Bid with confidence, age (early 1800s), authenticity (genuine hand-stitched needlework frqagment) and condition (as stated) unconditionally guaranteed in writing.
