WONDERFUL *** BRONZE RITUAL TEMPLE BELL with SANSKRIT INSCRIPTION ***

from Nepal or India.

These fine metal cast bells have been used by the hinduist and buddhist influenced Population of Nepal or India inside their temples or shrines during certain ritual ceremonies and puja offerings.

This very fine and longtime used Bell consists of HIGH QUALITY METAL ALLOY and depicts a fine aesthetic shape and with great smooth dark surface patina. At the bottom a SANSKRIT DONATION INSCRIPTION ( look first photo) !!! CLEAR SOUND !!!! With the original bronze clapper. Wonderful and superb dark and glossy smooth patina, traces of red sacrificial material.

Condition: perfect condition, no damage, superb darkened age patina, very good signs of age and freqeunt ritual use.

Age: late 19th to early 20th century.

Size: Height 8.9 cm. Diameter 7.4 cm.
