Antique New England Pine Grandfather Clock, Period This is a New England period antique pine grandfather clock. IT has the original wood works and original hand painted face. The case measures 90 inches in height, 16.5 inches in base length, 9 5/8 inches in depth. It has a very unusual set of wood works which I believe are the rare 30 day works. I took many pictures of the pine case, the clock face, and the wood works for condition and quality so please look at them all. The hand painted face has women playing the horns like you see in the very early American paintings and drawing of Americana type items. We do have two weight that did not make it in the pictures. The case appears to have been refinished at one time to a honey color finish. IT ha s the original door and backboard. The bottom of the case appears to be replaced. The face of the clock measures 16 inches in height, 12 inches in length. The clock was obviously cleaned up at one time. Im not a clock person so I dont know if it works, the wooden works do appear to be complete, but it will need some adjustments to get it working.
