Up for auction is a New Haven octogon top mantel clock circa 1878. It is in working condition. The 1 day movement has been cleaned by hand and oiled. The clock strikes the correct number of times on the hour, striking a coiled wire gong. I am not sure of the type of veneer on the case, but it looks like rosewood. The veneer is only in fair shape, with numerous spots missing. The door is in good shape, and the reverse glass painting is very good. T is a full label on the inside of the door. A correct fitting key and adjustable pendulum are included. The clock stands 15" tall by 10&1/2" wide by 4&1/4" deep. This clock is being sold "as is," and may require adjusting after shipping. Insurance is included in S&H.
