Antique New Haven Teardrop Shelf/Mantle Clock

Up for auction is this super nice New Haven "Teardrop" shelf--mantle clock. T is very little fault with this clock. It runs and strikes as it should. Case is walnut. The mvmt is marked New Haven and the dial pan just above the 12 is dtd Feb 11, 1879. T is some paint loss to the dial however, it is still original and readable. Clock stands aprox 23 3'4" tall and about 13 1/2" in width. Glass looks to be original and is undamaged. Clock has a barrell pendulum and original winding key. T is a small split in the outer wood just above the 11. The split does not go through to the back nor is it across to the other side.. an easy repairable surface flaw that does does not take away from the clock. I am not certain if the finials are original, you be the judge. Ck our other auctions for additional clocks up for sale. We do not take paypal but do take personal cks, cashier ck, or money orders. Antique clocks although running fine as this one does, may well need minor adjustment after travelling through the mails, tfore, look closely before before bidding and ask questions as these antique clocks are described to the best of our ability but are sold as is.
