This auction is for an antique Newcomb Macklin frame in the arts and crafts style. I believe this is called a Whistler style frame. The inside dimensions are approximately 16 1/2 inches by 22 1/2 inches, and outside dimensions are about 22 1/2 by 29 1/2. Overall condition is very good. At one time the frame was touched up with gold paint, not too noticeably except on the edges. The frame is unmarked but bears the signature Newcomb Macklin splines. The back is covered by paper and possibly t is a label or markings underneath. Offered fresh and with NO RESERVE...
