*ANTIQUE NIPPON BEADED & GILT 12" PLATTER c.1891* This is the most Beauitful Plate I have ever put up for Auction. It Measures 12 1/2" X 8" and has Very Heavy Raised Gilting and Beading. The Marking is the Maple Leaf in Blue, dating it to the 1890's. As you can see in the Pictures I took for you, this Platter is in Fantastic Condition, for it's age. The Craftsmanship on this Piece is Truly Outstanding!! The First Picture is the Correct Color, it was taken with my flash. The rest of the Pictures were taken without flash, so the Platter looks Darker than it Actually is. I have looked at it under a lit powerful Magnifying Glass and found NO Chips, Repairs, Hairlines, or Missing Beading. What I did find was Minor Gilt Ware around the Scalloped Edges, especially at the two ends w people have carried the plate. The Top and Sides were Glazed, the Bottom was not. T is also hints of Pink in the Porcelain. I am not an Antique Dealer, so I have not Cleaned this Plate, in fear of using the wrong products. It was a Featured Piece in the Home of the Estate w I Purchased this from. I will Ship to Japan with Insurance. I Bubble Wrap and use Foam Peanuts for Protection. The Platter Measures 12 1/2" L X 8" W I Purchased this Plate and many Other Wonderful Pieces from an Estate Sale in Beautiful Upstate NY. Please check my Other Listings. T are only
