Antique No. 4 Universal Bread Maker Landers Frary & Clark Up for bid is a Vintage No. 4 Universal Bread Maker in overall nice used condition. This piece has a few small dents, dings and some slight rusting. Incized on the cross piece is No. 4 Universal Bread Maker, the word Patented & 9 patent dates, with the oldest being DEC. 11, 1900 and the newest one being DEC. 25 1906, Made by Landers, Frary, & Clark. New Britain, Conn. U.S.A. On the front embossed label it reads; No. 4Universal Bread Maker Awarded Gold Medal St. Louis Exposition 1904 Made by Landers Frary & Clark New Britain, Conn. U.S.A. The metal top has the directions embossed into the lid. Put in all liquids first, then flour Turn 3 minutes Raise in the pail After rising turn until dough forms a ball Take off cross piece lift out dough with kneader Cover with this when raising This is a unique decorative piece, particularly for a kitchen or bakery. ************************************** Buyer MUST have a confirmed address.
