ANTIQUE NO. 5 STANLEY BAILEY CORRUGATED PLANE PRODUCT DETAIL : Japanning -- near 95+%!! Patent on blade -- "1,918,750" -- told that these patent numbers were stamped on the blades in the transition from sweethearts to the standard BB cutter -- in early type 16's and late type 15's!! Made 1933 - 1941!! Rare to find in such good condition!! Corrugated!! Looks like it has all its nickel plating!! Fine condition, in my opinion!! Type 16!! Beautiful rosewood!! Nicely patinated over much of the metal surfaces!! Still has some of the Stanley machining grooves on cheeks!! I can't see any rust, although the reflection from the camera's flash may make it appear to be so!!
