This auction is for an antique wood box by Northwestern Yeast Co., Chicago, IL, 1900-1920's, contained packages of yeast foam. On the side of the box is embossed, it reads "makes good bread, rolls, buckwheat cakes and rootbeer". On the other side it reads "use Yeast Foam for rootbeer and other beverages". On the end it is embossed "Yeast Foam, Purity & Excellence "Trademark" and tells the number of 2 oz packages "7 1/2" doz. Box measures 8 1/2" long and 5 1/4" wide and approx. 3 1/2 inches tall.
